Airplane noise frequently interferes with me and my family's sleep.It doesn't interrupts my daily activities, however, it causes you to stop what you are doing and take note of the noise
The biggest distruption is relative peace and quiet. I live near prospect park and it is as if the planes are dive-bombing it. In addition, 2 - 3 times a month helicopters hover over the corner of the park near us for about 15-20 minutes at 6- 6:30 in the morning - it is supremely annoying. I suspect that they are traffic helicopters getting a high vantage point over the Prspect expressway and the BQE. I wish it would stop.
